Patricia Brennan
Patricia A. Brennan is a Certified Trauma Services Specialist who serves as the Director of Special Services in the Division of Public Safety at the University of Pennsylvania. In this position she serves as the University coordinator for support services for survivors of sensitive crimes such as rape or attempted rape, sexual assault, domestic/dating violence and hate/bias crimes. She serves on various University committees that review and develop policy on these and related issues, and also interacts with academic departments, College Houses and Academic Support, the Office of Student Conduct, and the Vice Provost for University Life.
She is the liaison with the Penn and Philadelphia Police Departments, Penn’s Resource Centers, as well as city, state and federal agencies. She has been in law enforcement for 29 years, spending 20 years with the Philadelphia Police Department before coming to the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Management from Eastern University and an M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
