Posted On May 22, 2012

The University of Pennsylvania Police today announced seat-belt enforcement activities as part of a national Click It or Ticket seat-belt enforcement mobilization, from May 21 through June 10.  Penn Police will be targeting specific areas during evening hours, in particular Chestnut and Walnut Streets between 30th and 43rd Streets.
Penn Police are taking a Zero Tolerance stand on aggressive driving, speeding and non-seat belt use
Our message is simple; law enforcement will be citing aggressive drivers, speeders and writing Seat Belt tickets to save lives, so slow down and buckle up.
Buckle Up PA is a project funded through PennDOT dedicated to raising the seat belt usage level in Pennsylvania through increased enforcement, public awareness and education. The partnership is comprised of municipal police departments, the Pennsylvania State Police, PennDOT, the US Department of Transportation and community groups and organizations
