Fall Share the Road Educational Campaign

On October 6th and 7th, DPS will conduct a Share the Road Educational Campaign across campus. DPS organizes the Share the Road campaign several times throughout the year to educate drivers, bicyclists, pedestrians, and scooter riders about their shared responsibility to ensure road safety. Team members will connect with community members on Locust Walk and at key intersections such as 34th & Walnut Street, and 34th & Spruce Street. Stop by and visit with Public Safety and our partners from Penn Medicine, Penn’s Facilities and Real Estate Services and Penn Transportation, Parking & Commuter Services, providing information and encouraging best safety practices for navigating city streets.

Share the Road campaigns foster safe behaviors among drivers, bicyclists, pedestrians, and scooter or other micro-mobility device riders. Penn Police officers and DPS staff regularly engage the campus community at busy areas, distributing educational resources and promoting safety awareness.
