PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink

Penn Ice Rink Welcomed over 100 Police Athletic League (PAL) Participants to an afternoon of Ice-Skating During PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink

Through a partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, Police Athletic League (PAL) participants enjoyed recreational time at the Penn Ice Rink.

Penn’s Divisions of Public Safety and Business Services hosted PAL kids and teens on Monday, April 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. during the annual PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink, Class of 1923. The event engages children in a fun, safe, and free healthy activity. They were also provided refreshments including pizza and soda served by community volunteers. St. Joes Prep Ice Hockey Team, Penn Figure Skating Club, and the Penn Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Teams volunteered their assistance on the ice, providing coaching and support.

Thank you to the event sponsors, Penn’s Division of Business Services & Division of Public Safety, and the Coca-Cola Foundation.
