Security 500 – #1 for 12 years in a row!
Statement from Maureen S. Rush, M.S., CPP, Vice President for Public Safety and Superintendent of Penn Police:
“Security Magazine’s Security 500 has chosen Penn as the #1 Public Safety program in the Higher Education Sector for the 12th year in a row. This recognition belongs to all of our Public Safety TEAM which includes DPS, Penn Medicine Security and our Security Partners, including Allied Universal, Johnson Controls, and others.
The purpose of the Security 500 is to create a reliable database to measure against our peers and create a benchmarking program among security organizations. The process allows for greater accuracy of the information. Additionally, we include information on our greatest challenges and the innovative solutions we use that are unique to our environment.
As always the support from President Gutmann, EVP Carnaroli, and Provost Pritchett for our mission and our people continues to keep us a best-in-class Public Safety program, impacting our industry and our community.”
