Philadelphia Police Foundation donates vehicles to the Mounted Patrol Unit

The Philadelphia Police Foundation donated $80,000 in much needed equipment to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Mounted Patrol Unit on September 18, 2013.

Maureen Rush, President of the Philadelphia Police Foundation and Vice President for Public Safety for the University of Pennsylvania, presented two new Eby 13-ft.x 7-ft two-horse trailers and two 2014 Ford F150 trucks to the Mounted Unit during morning ceremonies held at the Delaware Valley Intelligence Center (DVIC) in South Philadelphia.
