Bike Light Give-Away a Great Success!

On Wednesday, February 20, 2013, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia (www.bicyclecoalition.org) partnered with the Division of Public Safety and the Philadelphia Police to distribute and install free bike lights. The lucky bicyclists riding by at the corner of Convention Avenue and Spruce Streets were all offered free lights, with free installation on the spot. Despite the biting cold, dozens of new lights were installed, and safety information was shared with the evening riders.
