DPS and BSD Participate in School Supply Drive for Local Non-Profit

The Division of Public Safety and the Business Services Division participated in the The Jarell Christopher Seay Love and Laughter Foundation Back to School Drive for 2014. Cheryl and Joel Seay are the founders for the Jarell Christopher Seay Love and Laughter Foundation.

Philadelphia school children will receive new school supplies thanks to the the collection efforts of the Seay Foundation. More about the non-profit, from its founders:

“This 501c3 non profit organization was established in 2011 after we lost our 18 year old son Jarell to senseless gun violence on our porch Easter Sunday in West Philadelphia. Our mission is – Uniting communities by connecting families while helping to protect our children through gun violence prevention, safety, and education.
