Fun and Safe Bike to Work Day 2016

Members of DPS enjoyed a bike ride on a beautiful morning this Friday, May 20th for Bike to Work Day at Penn. We met with area law enforcement, security, area commuters and residents at Penn Park, embarking on a 30-minute ride looping through University City. In attendance were our community, police and security partners including UPPD, University City District, Philadelphia Police, and AlliedBarton Security. Other ways Penn celebrated Bike to Work Day included a Penn Bike Resource fair with safety information for pedal bikes, pedestrians and cars, giveaways, bike registration and more.

Thank you to all who participated in this educational campaign to encourage bike riding and safe ways we can all “Share the Road”!
