Mounted Patrol Unit at the Penn Relays
The Penn Relays, beginning on April 22 and concluding on April 28, 2012, had a special addition this year – the Philadelphia Police Department’s Mounted Patrol Unit. Working in collaboration with the Division of Public Safety’s Police and Security Services Departments, this highly visible unit assisted with crowd control and to clear 33rd Street of pedestrians at the conclusion of the Relays on Saturday, April 28th.
