PAL Citywide Basketball Championships at the Palestra
This President’s Day, February 20, 2012, the University hosted the annual Police Athletic League (PAL) Citywide Basketball Championship in the Palestra. The championship games featured boys playing on teams based on their ages, from 10 to 16. Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush and Chief Mark Dorsey were present to support the athletes and their mentors. DPS Officer Cassandra Parks assembled and trained the Tucker PAL cheerleading team for the event.
