PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink

On Thursday, March 7, 2013, the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia (PAL) held the annual PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink. Over 250 youngsters skated at the Penn Ice Rink in the historic Class of 1923 Arena. The rink, managed by Business Services, hosted 22 local PAL centers for an afternoon of free skating, with pizza and beverages provided courtesy of Coca-Cola.  DPS officers and the Lower Merion High School Ice Hockey Team, along with other PAL officers and volunteers, joined the kids out on the ice, offering guidance and encouragement for new skaters and experts alike.
