SEPTA Police Strike

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Police Union voted to strike effective this evening.

Multiple law enforcement and community outreach agencies throughout the region will be assisting SEPTA in responding to emergencies throughout the transit system.

Penn Police, along with Philadelphia and Drexel Police will be assisting SEPTA Police supervisors in policing on subway surface trolleys, stations, and portals throughout the Penn Patrol Zone. They will be responding to calls for police and emergency medical services if needed.

We do not anticipate any SEPTA service disruptions as a result of the strike.
