SEPTA Project Impacting Our Area until August 26th
As you return to campus, take note of SEPTA regional rail transit modifications lasting until August 26th. These temporary changes in SEPTA service include the Airport Line, as well as Media/Wawa, and Wilmington/Newark Lines. See below for details:
SCIP Temporary Changes to Regional Rail Service
SEPTA announced details about ongoing SCIP work to rebuild the mainline infrastructure between William H. Gray III 30th Street Station and Penn Medicine Station. Special Regional Rail construction timetables will be in effect July 22 through August 26, 2023, for these regional rail lines:
- Media/Wawa
- Wilmington/Newark
- Airport Lines (See route details below)

SCIP-related schedule modifications will include service suspensions on the Media/Wawa line for critical Philadelphia Water Department sewer line work, July 24 through 28. SEPTA commuter rail passengers should be prepared for significant service changes, including increased travel times, free transfers to shuttle buses, and other procedure alterations.

Airport Line
WEEKEND SERVICE
- SHUTTLE BUSES will substitute for train service between Eastwick, Airport terminals, and William H. Gray III 30th Street Station
- Shuttle Buses from the Airport board at the Temporary Shuttle Bus Stops – please look for signs
- Shuttle Buses from William H. Gray III 30th Street Station board on 30th Street Station side drive
- No direct service to/from Penn Medicine, Suburban, Jefferson, or Temple University Stations
- Transfer to trains at SEPTA William H. Gray III 30th Street Station platforms, upper-level
WEEKDAY SERVICE
- HOURLY TRAIN SERVICE will operate between the Airport, Eastwick and Amtrak Main terminal lower-level platform
- ALL trains will arrive/depart William H. Gray III 30th Street Station from Amtrak Main terminal lower-level platforms

- No direct service to/from Suburban, Jefferson, or Temple University Stations
