Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at DPS

The Division of Public Safety hosted a number of special guests on April 25; the children of University employees who elected to visit the UPPD headquarters as part of the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. The kids were greeted this morning by Vice President for Public Safety Maureen S. Rush, who deputized them for the day. They visited station areas included: fingerprinting, bicycle safety, touring a firetruck, police motorcycle and police car, the PennComm center, visited with detectives, and learned about basic self defense.
