Team Penn Public Safety rides from the “Ben to the Shore”!

On Sunday, July 28th, members of the Division of Public Safety were joined by our University & Penn Medicine partners and friends by participating in the “Ben to the Shore” charity ride. Team ‘Penn Public Safety (Are We There Yet?)’, with 40+ members, raised over $10,700 for charity.

The ride is organized by the “Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation” (https://www.fbbcf.org/), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is committed to improving the lives of children in the Greater Philadelphia & South Jersey area. They do this in three ways:

  1. by supporting the families of first responders who are killed or severely injured in the line of duty,
  2. by improving relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve,
  3. by encouraging children through education and recreation.

We thank all of the dedicated riders, who traveled 65 miles from the Ben Franklin Bridge to Atlantic City on this hot July day in support of a great cause!
