The Lea School Annual Book Choosing
On Wednesday, April 20, 2016, Penn Police officers participated in the annual Lea School Book Choosing Program.
Approximately 50 first grade students participated in this event. Volunteers from the community helped each child pick and read a book. Before returning to class each child received a “Say No To Strangers” University of Pennsylvania Police coloring book and crayon set, and a message from Officer Nickol Taylor on how to “Say No To Strangers”.
We appreciated being included in this year’s event, and look forward to participating next year!
