University of Pennsylvania Commencement Events
On Sunday, May 18, 2025 there will be several Commencement events
in the area of Franklin Field, 33rd and Spruce Streets.
Expect intermittent closures of 33rd Street between Spruce and Walnut and delays in the area throughout the day and evening.

On Monday, May 19, 2025 the University of Pennsylvania
will be celebrating Penn’s 269th Commencement.
Expect intermittent closures of 33rd Street between Spruce and Walnut and the 3200 block of South Street throughout the day.
It is anticipated that traffic in the University area will be heavily congested from approximately 7am until 5pm.
Expect delays throughout the area all day.
