At approximately 11:00 PM, Philadelphia and Penn Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 4300 block of Baltimore Avenue. The unaffiliated complainant reported being approached by two suspects who displayed a handgun and took a cell phone and money and then fled.

The suspects were described as:
Black female with braids wearing a green/gray hooded sweatshirt;
Dark complected black male with a beard, wearing dark clothing.

The suspects were last seen heading north on 43rd Street from Baltimore Avenue.

Police and Allied have increased patrols in the area.

UPDATE: 11:40pm: All clear in the area of 4300 block of Baltimore Avenue. Police and Allied Security are patrolling the area. You may resume normal activity.

11:15pm: Robbery with weapon at 4300 block of Baltimore Avenue. Police responding, use caution, avoid area.

Suspect description:

Black male with a beard, dark complected, wearing all dark clothing.

Black female with braids, wearing a green or gray hooded sweatshirt.

Last seen heading northbound on 43rd Street.

Additional police and security officers are in the area.

Now that your registered, anytime you contact Public Safety by dialing 215-573-3333, PennComm dispatchers will be able to obtain accurate information about you and where you may should you need urgent assistance. Visit the Penn Guardian App to update your information should your number, address or any other information about you change.

Unfortunately there is not a Guardian App for the Windows phone.  However you can still create a profile at https://www.smart911.com/.  This profile information will be presented to our call takers or any Smart911 connected 911 center in the event you call for service.

Your Privacy

The information you choose to include in the Penn Guardian profile is kept completely confidential. PennComm or any entity at the University can not locate using your phone’s GPS service any other time. PennComm dispatchers only see this information when you call 215-573-3333 and can not be viewed at any other time.
