DPS Connects with the Robeson School for a Great Start to the New School Year!

On Friday, September 9th, UPPD police officers Taylor and Dager visited the Paul Robeson High School for Human Services in West Philadelphia to deliver school supplies collected and donated by members of the Division of Public Safety.

Paul Robeson High School for Human Services, a public 4-year high school located in University City, named for Paul Robeson the singer and civil rights activist, and considered one of the “Most Improved” high schools in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area since 2013, is an Honors college-preparatory high school that offers preparation for further study in the field of Health and Human Services.  With a 95% graduation rate, Paul Robeson High School course offerings are designed to develop the 21st Century Skills needed to succeed in post-secondary studies and careers in service to the local and global community.  Paul Robeson High School attributes its close affiliation with the Penn community as one of the key reasons for the tremendous success of the program.
