PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink!

DPS is excited to announce the return of the annual Police Athletic League (PAL) Day at the University of Pennsylvania Class of 1923 Ice Skating Rink! This event is open to PAL youths from all PAL centers city-wide, and will engage over 200 attendees in an enriching (and fun!) after-school activity.

The PAL members will be hosted at the Penn Ice Rink on Wednesday, April 13th  from 4-7pm.  They will be served refreshments including pizza, hot chocolate, and soda. St. Joes Prep Ice Hockey Team, Penn Men’s Ice Hockey and Penn Women’s Figure Skating will offer their assistance on the ice, providing skating instruction. Members of the Division of Public Safety and Philadelphia Police Department will also be assisting on the ice and practicing their skating skills!

This event is sponsored by Business Services, Public Safety, and the Coca-Cola Foundation.

About the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia (PAL):

PAL is a youth development organization offering educational, athletic, recreational, character-building, and cultural programs to Philadelphia’s youth, ages 6-18. All PAL programs are fun, safe, and FREE. PAL programming fills the dangerous void for Philadelphia kids during after-school and summertime hours by providing constructive activities and supervision.
